Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable, acing our tests of cleaning and tackling various floor types. Look for models that let you choose from multiple modes, use their charging docks to self-empty and clean stairs.
A lot of the top models work with your smartphone. Look for an app that allows you to save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos on the market. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of rooms and floors.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum in the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms and a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was capable of driving up to walls and even cross thresholds that are raised without issue. However it had some issues navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and swung up when it reached carpets or rug.
Prior to each mopping session the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills its water tank onboard with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to keep it working efficiently. You'll need to wash out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming blocked. It is also necessary to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to avoid them getting blocked by dust or dirt. Overall, the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is an efficient solution to your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum boasts 8,700Pa of suction and offers many innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just drag a pad across a surface. The mops are cleaned and dried at the base station, as needed.
This robot cleaner combination is simple to install and use, with a clear interface that guides you through the procedure. It includes an electric hand Best Robot Vacuum and Mop vacuum that can be recharged for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled when needed. It comes with a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that effortlessly picks up all kinds of debris, including the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are robust, however it does sometimes get hung up on the small carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can control by creating a virtual border in the app). Its mopping is quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spin mops that actually lift and scrub floors, instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops can also be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station whenever required. Mops can also be refilled at the top of the station if they are required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the high-end X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum has more impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender for our best mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush guarantee an efficient, customized clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests well by avoiding pet hairs as well as other dirt. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that extends to reach hard-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent that can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a beat. It can move from one area to another without reversing direction, which is a handy feature for homes with many rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than that of some competitors, and leaves a huge space between obstacles. This can result in missed spots.
The interface of the app is simple and streamlined. It should be easy to use for both novices and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings. You can also alter suction power, mop settings as well as look up 3-D and 2-D maps. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for live video surveillance. However, you will require a stable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
A robot vacuum that vacuums and mops vacuum can do a fantastic job of picking up debris and dirt, but it can't always reach every last particle of dust. That's why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once every week, and especially to clean dust from corners and on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect to your WiFI network at home and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's more expensive S-series models, which include the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's cheaper since it does not have mopping capabilities, and also has plastic body.
The Q5 remains one of the most powerful mopping and vacuums we've seen at this price, despite not being able to wipe your floor. It has a suction power of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system that means you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you select your floor's type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic refill of the water tank and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have issues with high-pile carpets or area rugs, but it couldn't pick up cat litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus

You can also mark off areas you want to be able to keep from using the app.
